    Rotarian's Pledge

    I am a Rotarian.

I will always uphold the truth.

    I am a Rotarian.

I will always strive to be fair in all my dealings with my fellow human beings.

    I am a Rotarian.

I will always endeavour to build goodwill and understanding in my community, among my countrymen, and among peoples of our nations.

    I am a Rotarian.

I will always seek to promote the greatest good for the greater number of people in the spirit of Rotary service.

    I am a Rotarian.

I will always observe Rotary International’s motto:

    Service Above Self.

    The Four Way Test

    1. Is it the TRUTH?

    2. Is it FAIR to all concerned?

    3. Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?

    4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

    Who Are We?

We are an all women Rotary Club, members of which are modern modern Filipinas who balance family, faith, and civic duty. The members of Hiyas ng Bacoor are mothers, professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders—all united by the desire to give back and grow in fellowship.

    Club History

    Founding of the Club

On September 10, 2000, President Oscar Garcia of the Rotary Club of Bacoor proposed forming a new club within their jurisdiction. He appointed Rotarian Sony Buhat as chairman and Luping Sapanghila as DCSR, both supporting the organization of the new club.

Oscar Garcia’s wife, Ann Tess Garcia, reached out to her circle of friends. Four responded enthusiastically:

    • Ann Celia Buhat
    • Ann Grace Navarette
    • Ann Tess Castillo
    • Ann Glo Lorrejos

Through these ladies’ efforts, more members joined. Several meetings were held at the Rotary Center of RC Cavite East, attended by PDG Charoy Marquez, DAD Danny Reboya, DGSR Luping Sapanghila, President Oscar Garcia, and other Rotarians. The Rotary Club of Hiyas ng Bacoor was officially chartered on May 9, 2001, with Charter President Celia Buhat.
